A new series of tungsten carbide road milling pick bits has been released for W1000, W100F, W120F, W130F and W200 cold milling machines. These bits are manufactured as direct replacement wear parts for asphalt and concrete pavement milling, giving contractors a practical way to keep drum performance stable through long rehabilitation shifts. The range is aimed at road maintenance crews, highway contractors and rental fleets that need a dependable consumable with predictable tool life.
Each pick bit combines a tungsten carbide tip with a hardened steel body. The tip geometry is ground to support smooth penetration into compacted asphalt, which helps reduce drum vibration and keeps the cutting pattern even across the working width. Because the carbide insert carries the main wear load, the steel body stays protected during abrasive service, and the bit keeps its shape until the wear limit is reached.

Bits are supplied 40 pieces per box at approximately 16 kg, then packed on cartons, pallets or wooden cases for export. Small trial orders are accepted from one piece upward, and regular production orders normally ship within seven to ten working days depending on quantity and stock position. Payment can be arranged by T/T, L/C at sight or D/P on a case by case basis. Shipments are quoted FOB Shanghai or EXW from the factory in Taicang, Jiangsu Province, and CIF prices are available on request once the destination port is confirmed. Monthly supply capacity is around ten thousand pieces, so mixed orders of several bit types can be consolidated into a single shipment.
Tool life depends heavily on the milling depth, the aggregate hardness and the condition of the holder. Crews are advised to rotate bits between positions on the drum, check holder wear at every drum service, and replace bits before the carbide tip is fully consumed. Keeping a small buffer stock of pick bits on site avoids unplanned downtime when a section of hard aggregate is encountered in the middle of a project.
